2. Red & White Nail Art | Blogmas 2015
Welcome to the 2nd day of Blogmas. Today I have something different here!
I didn't use to do nail art videos or posts, because filming with natural lighting was terrible, but since I have the lights, I'm able to film a lot more!
So here's the first nail art in this year's Blogmas, hope you enjoy! :)
You will need:
- white, red and clear nail polish
- some red glitter and little stars
- thin brush, dotting tool and a fan brush
- little bit of water
Apply a layer of clear nail polish to protect your nails. This way they won't get coloured.
After your clear nail polish is completely dry, apply two coats of white nail polish. Let your nails dry as well.
Chose a finger to which you want to apply the stars and apply a clear nail polish on top. (For me it was my ring finger)
Dip the tip of your dotting tool into water and press it on top of one little start. The water allows the star to stick to the dotting tool, that way you can place it anywhere you'd like and you have way more control.
Apply as much stars as you wish.
And for the rest of the nails... just draw random patterns with the red nail polish. Before it dries, pour some glitter on top so it sticks to the polish.
Let it sit there for at least a minute and then dust the unneeded glitter with the fan brush.
Apply a top coat to all your nails and they're done!
Nothing says Christmas more than red glitter. Let me know if you decide to try this design, I will be pleased to see your re-creations. Stay tuned for more nail art tutorials in just few days and don't forget to stay tuned for Blogmas of course.
Thank you for reading.
