How To: Easy Homemade Pizza!
Today's blogpost is nothing special, because I've done lots of cooking post before. However this is my first ever cooking video! Yaaaay! I'm so happy to be finally able to film in my small kitchen.
I was thinking about something easy, but I didn't want to do anything sweet. I was browsing through family recipes and when I found this one, I was very surprised. I remember wanting to make pizza so many times before, however I didn't know what recipes to try. There are sooo many of them on the Internet.
I though there's nothing better than a family recipe, as it's most likely been tried many times before. Therefore I got all the ingredients (there's few trust me) and got cooking!
Ingredients:
350g plain flour (all purpose flour in America)
20g yeast
1 glass of warm water
salt
pizza seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
grated cheese
ketchup or pizza sauce
sliced tomatoes
salami or ham
How To:
1. Prepare a clean space for making the dough. Mash the yeast in between your fingers and put it onto the flour. Mix it together adding a little bit of warm (NOT HOT) water at a time.
(If the dough feels sticky, add some flour. If it feels dry, add water).
2. Let it rest in a warm place for approx. 2 hours.
3. Roll the dough out, put some olive oil on top and spread it around the whole pizza.
4. Do the same with ketchup or any kind of tomato sauce.
5. Sprinkle with pizza seasoning.
6.Cover with ham/salami, tomatoes and any toppings of your choice.
7. Top it all off with grated cheese.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Bake for 12 minutes.
If you'd like to see the recipe in a video form, here it is:
I hope you enjoyed this easy recipe, let me know if you try it!
Love,
