My Top 5 Favourite Movies

Hello everyone!

I wanted to write a different post for you (Autumn inspired OOTD), however I wasn’t able to finish it, because I have no photos. My good friend, which is the best photographer I know, had to go to hospital, luckily she’s fine now, but the weather outside decided to all of a sudden turn into winter.

So today, I’ll be talking about my top 5 favourite movies. I could make a list of a hundred of them, but obviously I didn’t want to make you bored.

1. The holiday (2006)

My favourite season of the year is Winter and with Winter comes Christmas. It’s a story of two love stories. Two women exchange their houses and lives for two weeks and the adventure may begin. It’s a drama mixed with comedy and romance. If you are looking for something to put you into the Christmas spirit, this will do, I promise!

2. Zombieland (2009)

Where to start? I’m not the kind of person you’d expect to like movies like this. I actually enjoy stuff like this a lot. When my friend first introduced me to this movie and asked me to watch it, my response was: ‘Hell, no.’ I thought it’s going to be another horror thing, including a lot of blood, fights and boredom. To this day I’m more than happy she made me sit there and watch the movie, because let me tell you, it’s worth to watch. First of all it’s a comedy. There are fights, zombies and blood, but it’s mostly funny, so you don’t pay attention to those at all. To prove you how much I love it, I think I’ve watched it over fifteen times for sure.

3. Nowhere Boy (2009)

British biopic about John Lennon staring Aaron Taylor Johnson, do I need to add more? When I first watched it, I didn’t even know it was about John Lennon, you don’t even have to care. You just need to enjoy the movie. A boy who wants to be a musician, and is also brave enough to do anything for it. There is a lot of funny moments, but it’s mostly drama. However what caught my eye was the movie itself. Nineteen-fifties music, life, people, British accent plus an incredibly good looking actor. Ha-ha!

4. Flipped (2010)
Romantic comedy drama about two kids. The movie is in nineteen-fifties as well, I think there’s something about those years for me, ha-ha! I’m not going to tell too much, just assure you it’s cute, romantic and the story is beautiful.

5. The Notebook (2004)

A classic drama you’ve surely seen, but if not, you have to give it a try. Again, beautiful love story about a couple who fall in love during 1940.

These are my top five favourite movies so far. Trust me, it was hard to pick! Be prepared for more beauty related posts soon!

Bonnie xoxo
